 I'm trying to upgrade my outdated packages. Atlas is one of them and it is
 failing to build. I've glanced at the other atlas related tickets, but
 none seem focused on "--static" not being a valid option to libtool.
 libtool should be at the latest available.

 I've attached the created `main.log`.
