 Additional remark regarding ufraw :
 I'm able to process/convert a RAW image using ufraw sucessfully when
 forcing ufraw
 to not use lensfun functionality by supplying commandline switch
 '''--lensfun=none'''.
 Thus the problem seems to be within lensfun rather than ufraw.
