Comment:

 The functionality of python_select is now a part of port itself (as well
 as for other port sets that support it); see {{{port help select}}}.  You
 can now just use {{{port select --set python python27}}} to select 2.7 to
 be the default.

 Also, I strongly suggest you upgrade your MacPorts to 2.0.3 (the latest).
