 I would like to ask for some testing of gnuplot4_6_0.diff added above. It
 updates to gnuplot 4.6.0 and adds two variants: qt & wxwidgets_devel (on
 top of wxwidgets itself). I updated one patch that has been used before,
 added two upstream bugfixes for xwt & qt, and one long & ugly patch that
 should enable building qt terminal on mac.

 I only tested on 64-bit Lion so far.
