 I am trying to install GDL (port gnudatalanguage) and after installing all
 dependencies successfully the installation fails at the last moment with
 the message "Error: Target org.macports.configure returned: configure
 failure: shell command failed (see log for details)".

 According to the log file it is due to a faulty netCDF installation. In
 the log file it says "Error! netCDF installation seems not to be usable",
 "This suggests a conflicting netCDF-HDF4 installation" and then the shell
 command fails (see attached log file).

 Trying to uninstall and re-install both netCDF and HDF4 in different order
 did not help. I am new to using Macport and am stuck about how I can get
 GDL to run on my Mac. Does anybody have any ideas how to solve this
 problem? I would really appreciate it!!
