 which they must have substituted when they released the update (why do
 they do so? beats me.)

 Since this repeated stealth update situation has been a problem ever since
 httrack was added to MacPorts three years ago (#16356, #18016, #18717,
 #20831, #24939, #33062, #34052) I have now reported the problem to the
 author of httrack. Hopefully they will fix the configuration of their
 server.
