 Sorry for the incomplete earlier posting. I followed your suggestion and
 installed groff after “sudo port clean
  groff". Attached is the main.log.

  The error in the log is:

  :info:destroot install: img/pic*: No such file or directory

  However, since this was not a clean build attempt, please "sudo port
 clean
  groff", then try again, then attach the new main.log so we can see what
  really happened.
