New description:

 Sorry for the incomplete earlier posting. I followed your suggestion and
 installed groff after “sudo port clean groff". Attached is the main.log.

 This ticket was filed in reply to comment:ticket:34128:1. In the future
 please just add a comment to the existing ticket rather than filing a new
 one.

 The first error in the new log seems to be:

 can't find `DESC' file

 error: invalid device `html'
 }}}

 I don't know what this means or what to do about it.
