I encountered the same problem and traced it to its source - it seems to
be caused by Xcode switching from gcc to clang at 4.something or other.
Turns out clang is pickier about a few things that cause compilation of
agg 2.4 (which is bundled inside enable) to fail.
https://github.com/enthought/enable/pull/46 has the fix - it's been
applied to the github version of enable, but if you want to get this
working now, you could just apply that patch.
