 I stumbled upon the same issue and, to get going, had to follow the same
 advice given for python at https://trac.macports.org/wiki/ProblemHotlist,
 but for qt4-mac:
 {{{
 sudo port -n upgrade --force qt4-mac
 }}}
 Something with the Xcode upgrade, it seems.
