#34074: avr-gcc 4.7.0: error in backend: ran out of registers during register
allocation

Type: defect | Status: assigned
Priority: Normal | Milestone:
Component: ports | Version: 2.0.4
Keywords: | Port: avr-gcc

Comment(by jerkejacobs@…):
I still have the same error, it could also be a problem with mixed half
installed toolchains because XCode has changed with 4.3.2:
jerry at white ~ $ sudo port install avr-gccWarning: xcodebuild exists but
failed to execute
Warning: Xcode appears to be installed but xcodebuild is unusable; some
ports will likely fail to build.
Warning: You may need to run `sudo xcode-select -switch
/Applications/Xcode.app`
You may close this bug, when I have a clean install and then it doesn't
work I will open a new bug request. Or when other people bump to this
problem with Xcode 4.3.2 or other.
Thank you for your time.
