 I don't understand what you mean with "user-modified". The use of
 "-mcpu=7450 -mtune=7450" is according to the documentation, and should not
 have any impact on how C header files are interpreted but effect only the
 code generation stage, that will produce special-ised code that will run
 only on particular Apple hardware. This is what "-m" implies. (And it
 comes from and is necessary because I like to use -fast which would
 optimise for the G5, the PowerPC 970 family.)


 I hope now I can submit this comment. Before I had written the word
 "special-ised" othografically correct which was commented this way:
