 Again, same here ... fresh, empty hd, with a new install of 10.8,
 selfupdate did not work. only the
 {{{
 cd
 /opt/local/var/macports/sources/rsync.macports.org/release/tarballs/ports
 sudo portindex
 }}}
 allows you to see the ports
 {{{
 databases/oracle-instantclient
 lang/g95
 multimedia/XviD
 }}}
 if you do a selfupdate after this, you will lose the ability see them
 again, and will have to run through the portindex process again.
