 I just installed the update:[[BR]]
  gimp2 @2.8.0_0+help_browser+python27 ->
 @2.8.0_1+help_browser+python27[[BR]]
 but it hasn't made any difference to this defect - the build still fails
 with the same error message and log.

 However the fix/botch described in my previous post still works so I still
 currently have what seems to be a working gimp2.8.
