 I'm glad you got it working.

 The log says:

 :info:build ImportError: dlopen(/opt/local/lib/gobject-
 introspection/giscanner/_giscanner.so, 2): Library not loaded:
 /opt/local/lib/libffi.5.dylib
 }}}

 Rebuilding gobject-introspection is indeed the fix for that, but it should
 not have been necessary to do so manually.

 libffi was updated to version 3.0.11 in r93823, which updated its library
 version from 5 to 6; all ports using libffi then needed a revbump to alert
 users that they need to be rebuilt. gobject-introspection received its
 revbump in r93824.
