 Perhaps it was not compiled on Mountain Lion, and/or perhaps it was
 compiled with a different compiler than the one we're using in MacPorts. I
 just added a gcc47 variant to the port in r96335, and confirmed that it
 fixed at least one crash for me on Mountain Lion that I saw with the gcc45
 variant. Does that help for you as well?
