 So it looks like they corrected the build for "x86" (32-bit Intel), but
 not "ppc", so I'm modifying the "contains(CONFIG,"x86")" line to also do
 "|contains(CONFIG,"ppc")"; I'll post the updated patch once I've verified
 that it works in a basic sense for me (I do not have a PPC on which to do
 testing).
