Comment:

 So it's yet another example why having variants on ports for language
 interpreters is a bad idea compared to just providing sane defaults. We've
 had this with perl +shared/+threads for a while and are seeing pretty much
 the same thing with python now (although admittedly it's much less severe
 in this case).

 Can you please generate a list of files installed by python27 +ucs4 by
 running port contents python27 and attach it to this ticket so I can try
 to add a fix to gobject-introspection?
