 Ok, can you do that again, but with debug/verbose output for when you are
 installing subversion-perlbindings (and maybe just for everything?):

 sudo port -f uninstall subversion-perlbindings subversion
 sudo port clean p5.12-svn-simple
 sudo port -dv install p5.12-svn-simple
 }}}

 Maybe we'll be able to spot what is going wrong with your subversion-
 perlbindings install.
