 In the past few months, qt4-mac, phonon, and py27-pyqt4 have all been
 updated.  Maybe these updates have fixed the issue of this ticket?  I'm
 working on getting ports working on 10.8 right now, so I have a bit of a
 queue to get to this one. But, I'll try it out once I do get there.  In
 the mean time, maybe the OP can work on the issue too?
