 Whoops!  A very poorly behaved installer decided to overwrite the header
 for /usr/include/dirent.h with it's own, obviously not containing a
 definition for dirent.d_ino,  I restored my headers in /usr/local from the
 Xcode SDK, and things work correctly.  Sorry for bothering everyone!
