 A hint from Václav Slavík, Poedit's author:
 > wx's '{{{make install}}}' will install them only if the {{{.mo}}} files
 exist; if you are building from SVN, they do not and you have to run
 '{{{make allmo}}}' in {{{locale/}}} first.

 I'll try to see if I can reproduce that and come up with a patch for the
 port.
