 No, my /opt/local/include/apr-1/apu_want.h is slightly different:

 #if APU_HAVE_DB
 #include <db.h>
 #endif

 #undef APU_WANT_DB
 #endif
 }}}

 Note it includes db.h, not db46/db.h like your copy does

 Also worth noting that in both my and your case, the #include of db.h (or
 db64.h) will only happen when BOTH these defines are enabled:

 APU_WANT_DB
 APU_HAVE_DB

 However, in the test C program configure ran (pasted in comment:5, it only
 defines APU_WANT_DB, not APU_HAVE_DB.....
