 I see something similar in my attempts to compile code using OpenMPI. The
 codebase assumes that all relevant headers are in /opt/local/include.
 Instead, they're in /opt/local/include/openmpi (bad enough), or one of its
 many subdirectories. Why are they distributed like this?
