 I'm getting a build failure on 10.8 with +universal and -universal (see
 attached log). I also tried setting configure.compiler=llvm-gcc-4.2 and a
 few others using the list at
 https://trac.macports.org/wiki/UsingTheRightCompiler , but none worked.
 Using some, e.g. macports-gcc-4.6 , the build stopped during the configure
 script with a message that no working compiler was available.
