 You're correct. I downloaded two distfiles a few minutes apart, and while
 the unpacked contents are identical, the distfiles themselves are not
 binary indentical because of GZIP's timestamp in the header.

 I changed the portfile to download the files available as static content
 from the project's web site. (Attached.)
