      Type: defect | Status: new

 Component: ports | Version: 2.1.2
Resolution: | Keywords:
      Port: expat |

Comment (by ryandesign@…):

 The config.log says:
 configure:3215: /usr/bin/clang -O2 -arch i386 -arch ppc
 -I/opt/local/include -L/opt/local/lib -arch i386 -arch ppc conftest.c >&5
clang: warning: not using the clang compiler for the 'powerpc'
This probably means that at some point you upgraded from Leopard or
earlier and haven't updated your macports.conf file to match. In
particular your universal_archs setting is incorrect. See wiki:Migration
for all the things you need to do when you upgrade to a new version of OS
