 I have XCode 4.2.  Mac OS X 10.6.8.

 When trying to do a selfupdate followed by a upgrade outdated I have
 failures in fetching gdbm. Please see information below. Thank you for
 your help. I've been using MacPorts for years and not sure why I'm not
 broken.

 [09:07:00 macports]$ sudo port selfupdate
 Password:
 ---> Updating MacPorts base sources using rsync
 MacPorts base version 2.0.3 installed,
 MacPorts base version 2.0.3 downloaded.
 --->  Updating the ports tree
 ---> MacPorts base is already the latest version

 The ports tree has been updated. To upgrade your installed ports, you
 should run
   port upgrade outdated
 [09:11:45 macports]$ sudo port upgrade outdated
