 I am also running OS X 10.7.3 and Xcode 4.2.1 on a new computer and got
 the same error message as #33185 when trying to install Arb through
 MacPorts. I ran the following workaround listed in #33165

 sudo port uninstall imake sudo port install imake configure.compiler=llvm-
 gcc-4.2

 but I'm still getting the same error message. I also tried installing
 apple-gcc42 but I get the same shell command failed error (with the
 attached log file). This failure has happened with the following ports:
 arb, xfig, transfig, and apple-gcc42.
