 sudo /usr/bin/xcode-select -switch
 /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/

 instead of

 sudo /usr/bin/xcode-select -switch
 /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer

 did the trick for me, for another package.

 But this is more a temporary fix, as this should be already fixed in
 MacPorts SVN trunk, as I read.
