 I'm getting the same error so I'll attach the log file.  I've also tried
 building from the xcircuit 3.7 source and am getting an error there as
 well.  The problems may be the same and are due to something wrong in
 either the tclxcircuit.c file or in the latest version of tcl/tk.  Error
 has something to do with incompatible type declarations in commands like
 "tcl_vprintf"
