 Installing CVS on Mac OS X 10.7.3 with Xcode 4.3. fails on configure with
 "configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables". Several other
 packages build successfully after Xcode update. Drillig down to
 config.log, related part is probably this:

 configure:2822: /usr/bin/clang -pipe -O2 -arch x86_64 -I/opt/local/include
 -L/opt/local/lib -arch x86_64 conftest.c  >&5
 clang: error: unable to make temporary file: /conftest: can't make unique
 filename: Permission denied
