 edbrowse should be updated to the latest version 3.4.8. But this depends
 on a newer version of spidermonkey; see #29446.

 This ticket is to document why the edbrowse update hasn't been done yet,
 and to ensure that when it is done, the erroneous dist_subdir declaration
 is removed. See patch.
