 Here are some commands that can help:
 {{{
 $ man port
 $ man portfile
 $ port dir virtuoso
 $ port file virtuoso
 $ port ed virtuoso
 }}}
 and just doit:

 {{{
 $ sudo sh -c 'echo "configure.args-append --disable-all-vads" >> '$(port
 file virtuoso)
 }}}
