 This describes my Mac as well…

 Are all your Portfiles up-to-date? I have to admit that I did not wait
 until they were updated (or upgraded?), I edited them manually once I got
 a clue how to make the ports build. My changes were really basic and
 silly, as proposed for gobject-introspection. So maybe some Portfiles just
 fail?
