Comment:

 Added in r95679 with changes:
  * removed redundant distname line
  * derived branch from version instead of hardcoding it
  * fixed format of license field
  * made pkgconfig a build-time dependency only
  * fixed gcc46 variant description
  * added gcc47 variant
  * changed default variant to gcc45 to match other science ports
  * disabled universal variant due to use of non-Apple gcc
