Comment(by tinoucas@…):

 * Configure script needs argument '--without-gimp' if gimp is not yet
 installed.
  * Embedded tools/xml2po runs with python, which defaults to
 /usr/bin/python ; should be python2 (/opt/local/bin/python2.7).
