Comment:

 After more than two years, there are still no (stable) releases from
 upstream available - there is not even a designated upstream, just
 multiple repositories on github. I am no longer waiting for a release. If
 someone else is interested in creating a git-bzr-devel port tracking the
 git repository, feel free to reopen and assign to someone else.
