 I've been having the same problem for a while.  "sudo port uninstall
 inactive" has failed this way for a while, and now so does "sudo port
 uninstall libiconv" (apparently needed as part of the rebuild following
 the Mountain Lion update).  Can you please take a look at my registry db
 as well?
