 Installing the older version of tcl that has core foundation disabled and
 then uninstalling, cleaning, and reinstalling Pymol seems to work for me.

 Maybe tcl should have a core foundation variant (or a non-core foundation
 variant) as was discussed in [https://trac.macports.org/ticket/31995
 31995] and then Pymol could enforce the appropriate version at build?
