 I '''do''' know that java has a bit of a non-standard support history on
 Mac; I'm not sure to what extent we can assume that the java development
 system is installed, or how to check correctly for a runtime. Maybe
 something as simple as a `depends bin:` line?

 I'm not a java user, so I (current maintainer) will not be adding this,
 sorry! Like I said... contributors welcome!
