 Ok, the relevant line in the log is:

 conftest.c:11:19: error: /usr/local/include/stdio.h: Permission denied
 }}}

 This means that there is something in /usr/local, and that this port is
 trying to access it, but does not have permission to do so. We don't want
 this or other ports to access things in /usr/local, but we do not know how
 to prevent them from doing so. Therefore the only thing we can recommend
 is for you to rename or remove /usr/local for the duration that you want
 to use MacPorts.
