 Sorry for the delay, but I ran Tech Tools on my Mac yesterday and it took
 a long time for all the scans.  It found some problems with the file
 structure on the drive.  After reboot MacPorts installed orbit2 with no
 problems, but found other broken packages and dependencies which needed to
 be rebuilt.  Everything seems to be fine now.  I guess there was some file
 corruption in MacPorts and after they were marked or fixed a port upgrade
 installed fixed my problems.  You can close this ticket, thanks!
