 If there is no work around how is this package uninstalled?
 Pardon my knowledge of MacPorts this is my first day here.

 I have this issue and I am reluctant to add the user manually myself to
 every computer in my office.

 I presume there is a sudo uninstall -pkd dbus command of some sort.
