New description:

 Macports 2.1.1 [[br]]
 MacOS 10.7.4

 I installed arb using macports before. But now the terminal return:

 --->  Building arb
 Error: org.macports.build for port arb returned: command execution failed
 }}}

 I tried "sudo port clean arb", "sudo port selfupdate", and then install.
 But it still failed.

Comment:

 Has duplicate #34814.

 The relevant error in the log seems to be:
 {{{
 :info:build ld: lto: could not merge in aisc.o because Unknown instruction
 for architecture x86_64
 }}}

 So I'm going to call this a duplicate of #34200.
