Comment(by cal@…):

 `patch-contrib__rpl__rgrl__rgrl_est_proj_rad_func.txx-clang-
 compatibility.diff` and specifying `-Werror=gnu` as arguments should fix
 the build with clang. Waiting for the maintainer to confirm.
