 I rapidly tested the annotation functionality of okular (highlight,
 notes), and saved it in .okular format. It could then be opened again
 without any issues with the latest ports, and also OS 10.6.8, XCode 3.2.6.

 As I can't reproduce the issue, I am wondering if there is a specific
 thing which triggers the problem.
