Comment:

 Provided the licenses are compatible I'll use the
 [http://opensource.apple.com/source/Libc/Libc-763.13/string/FreeBSD/strnlen.c
 FreeBSD version strnlen] for anything under Lion.

 This will be a revbump for anything under Lion.
