 Oh, I see you did that already.

 In any event, the ppc_fde_encoding.diff patch is applied unconditionally,
 so I don't know what you mean by changing it... also it's the gcc port
 that is at issue, not the libffi port.  If you have further issues, please
 open a new bug report.  Try adding the ppc_fde_encoding.diff patch (from
 gcc45) to gcc47.
