Comment:

 This is a problem on your end. MacPorts doesn't find the patchfiles in
 `$(port dir vxl)/files` and tries to download them instead, so I suspect
 the files are not in the correct place. Please run selfupdate (which will
 fix this), run `port clean vxl` and try again.
